Exciting global news of AU’s presence at the recently concluded NXT Conclave in Delhi, India (March 7-14). Our very amiable DGI’s faculty Dr. was a speaker and our PhD scholar Sujin Heo was in attendance as well as our AU alumni Henry Moskov and Telmen Altanshagai.

Inspiring & Heartfelt!
Rain or shine (or extreme DC weather!), nothing could stop the amazing community at . 🌧️✨

All was set for our March 16th for the film premier- “Palestine 36” as part of the Farsi Lecture in Islamic Peace led by faculty and Mohamed S Farsi Chair or Islamic Peace- Professor Elizabeth Thompson. Nature had other plans and we had to postpone impromptu to the following day March 17th.
We are still buzzing from the energy of our community that showed up at the Founders Room 🏛️💨

Moving an entire event last minute is no small feat, but seeing a packed room made every bit of the effort worth it.
We are deeply grateful to:
• The Mohamed S Farsi Chair of Islamic Peace for their sponsorship.
• Our guest speaker Annemarie -Jacir and the Watermelon Picture crew.
• The au_sis events team for the quick pivot.
• Most importantly—YOU. Thanks for showing up for the conversation.
