The Academy provides year-round programming for youth living in underserved DC communities using baseball and softball as vehicles to teach life lessons. After graduating from the SIM Program, I joined the SIM faculty staff and now facilitate two online courses - Social Responsibility & Globalization in Sports and Sports Leadership & Management. At the heart of our work is a mission to build a world where all women are valued while giving back to worthy initiatives that support marginalized women impacted by violence, poverty, and discrimination. This next chapter is deeply rooted in bringing people together in advocacy, common shared values, and to reverse the dangerous trend of women's safety and equality regressing in over 40% of countries worldwide since 2019. We're just getting started and hope that you'll join us and support our mission!"
