On October 25th, 1947, Brothers Stack, Denis, and Vasnick unified a group of seven brothers to found Alpha Sigma Pi, a fraternity with the goals of establishing a strong, intimate friendship amongst fellow men that would become beneficial to the educational, social and moral environments in Gallaudet University. For 70 years and counting, Alpha Sigma Pi has striven to encourage high academic achie

vement from its brothers and independent men alike. Alpha Sigma Pi’s ideal gentleman is defined by four words: Lore, Amity, Presence, and Influence. A gentleman is a guide to others in this world, a standard of living to be held to. He is someone whose people can go to for help; because he is knowledgeable in the matters of the world we live in, and is always willing to assist. He prizes harmony with others and takes care to enjoy good natured humor in any situation. Finally, he understands that humility is a virtue, and conducts his manners as such. Last night, Alpha Sigma Pi’ 83rd congregation’s pledge play “Naja Haje” was a blast! Nothing like having the bros and alumni unite for an epic night. We raised $370 towards our $1,500 yearly goal! HUGE shoutout to everyone who rolled through—this is what brotherhood is all about!🐍🖤💛🔥
