Alpha Sigma Pi Fraternity A fraternity that thrives on businesses, academics, and socializing. We reach those by using our moral standards on presence, influence, amity, and lore.

On October 25th, 1947, Brothers Stack, Denis, and Vasnick unified a group of seven brothers to found Alpha Sigma Pi, a fraternity with the goals of establishing a strong, intimate friendship amongst fellow men that would become beneficial to the educational, social and moral environments in Gallaudet University. For 70 years and counting, Alpha Sigma Pi has striven to encourage high academic achievement from its brothers and independent men alike. Alpha Sigma Pi’s ideal gentleman is defined by four words: Lore, Amity, Presence, and Influence. A gentleman is a guide to others in this world, a standard of living to be held to. He is someone whose people can go to for help; because he is knowledgeable in the matters of the world we live in, and is always willing to assist. He prizes harmony with others and takes care to enjoy good natured humor in any situation. Finally, he understands that humility is a virtue, and conducts his manners as such. Visual Description:
A vertical gold-toned flyer shows several Alpha Sigma Pi Fraternity brothers walking outdoors at night. One brother is in the foreground wearing a dark suit, with other brothers walking behind him. Large gold text with a black outline is centered over the photo. The flyer ends with the event time & location: Tonight at 7:47 p.m. at Benson Hall Circle.

“Things whisper of the future
The night knows it. The cold wants it.

Tonight, New alphas come to try their direction.
Secret to people,
Familiar to the Alphas of the Fraternity.

The new alphas, Come to be recast in gold,
And come to be bound in black.

They come to offer themselves,
Because the promised alphas know
The Alpha Sigma Pi Fraternity WILL delivery them
Witness the truth shakes its bonds loose.

Tonight, 7:47pm at Benson Hall Circle.”

Fun Fact: I never like cats. 😂
