📚✨ ALUMNI BOOK TALK ✨📚
Join us for an exciting workshop with Christine Dela Rola, an AASA Alumni, to discuss “How to Quit (and Discover) Your Identity” 🧠💭
About the workshop: In her book, “Quit,” Annie Duke says “the most painful thing to quit is your identity.” What in your identity is shaped by cultural, gender, or family expectations? 🤔 Think about those influences! If you don’t meet those original expectations, does your identity still stand strong?
In this workshop, Christine Dela Rola—author of “Between Two Poles”—shares her journey of letting go of being a caregiver, something that challenged her core identity as an Asian American woman. 🌸 She’ll dive into the emotional journey of questioning what’s left of her identity, and whether or not we’re truly defined by societal labels. 👀
Christine will guide us in unpacking what drives our behaviors around identity, helping us explore if those behaviors are still serving us. Plus, she’ll offer tools to help us express our true, authentic selves! 💡🌈
