New Student Orientation brought DC museums to life with a new event: Night at the Museum! This event connected our incoming students with the rich history of our nation's democracy, granting them after-hours access to exhibits like The American Presidency, First Ladies, Entertainment Nation, and more.
A new safety campaign is encouraging GW to “be RevReady” by educating and empowering the community to prepare for and respond to emergencies. It focuses on the main tenets of emergency preparedness, offering actionable tips for every community member to make a plan, build a kit, and stay informed in emergency situations.

GW School of Engineering and Applied Science’s David Broniatowski led a team of researchers in a study to help communicators correct online misinformation. Published in the Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied, the study found that people are more likely to share misinformation if it’s easy to understand and conveys a clear, simple message in a nutshell.
