“I went Alpha Phi because of the immediate sense of comfort and community I felt during rush. Every day I had the chance to witness the genuine connections all the girls shared, and I could tell that everyone was not only excited to see me, but also just genuinely so happy to be together. I could instantly tell that this was a group of girls who would be there to support me through every challenge and celebrate my every win. The past few weeks have truly confirmed everything I felt during rush and I can confidently say that Alpha Phi has already transformed my GW experience. I feel so lucky so be apart of such an authentic community of unique and inspiring women and I cannot wait for everything else Alpha Phi brings.”

Some advice from our VP of Membership Recruitment, Bevin Guth💫

“Two years ago, I found myself in your position, feeling a mix of nerves and excitement as I stepped into the unknown. When I first entered the Alpha Phi room, I was embraced by a sense of warmth and belonging that instantly made me feel at home. I never could have anticipated just how much these incredible women would mean to me — they became my biggest supporters, my source of inspiration, and the reason that GW truly feels like home.

I truly believe that staying true to yourself and your values is essential during this journey. It’s important to honor who you are, as this will allow you to find deeper meaning and authenticity in your experience. Your individuality is what makes your journey special.

As the Vice President of Membership Recruitment, my greatest hope is for you to find a place where you feel equally cherished and supported, whether in Alpha Phi or another chapter. It is a privilege to share this journey with you, and I hope you find joy and confidence as you navigate your path toward finding your home.
