Washburn Art Building Rules


This use WAB facilities after hours are privilege we offer to Art Students who follow the rules:

WAB access hours are posted each semester. Lab/computers hours:
Sundays to Thursdays from 5pm to 11pm & Friday 10:30am to 12pm and 3:30pm to 5pm

WAB is available to the student in ART course only; only students enrolled in the current semester in ART classes are allowed

to use WAB. Access to WAB front door is through ID swipe only; for your safety and the security, DO NOT PROP open door to the building or classrooms. For Emergencies contact DPS: [email protected]
or call DPS at 202-651-5555

Food and drinks are not permitted in the labs only; the cleanup is your responsibility

Theft of damage of University equipment will not be tolerated; report any damages to [email protected] and to lab assistant staff. Students must use their own USB backup drive or hard drive to store computer work; storing on WAB computers is not permitted. All computer drives are cleaned/wiped twice a week. Students must pick up work within two weeks of term end; after this time it becomes property of
Art Department to keep or dispose of. Failure to comply with the above rules will not be tolerated and may result in WAB privileges being revoked and /or your course grades being lowered. Having access to this equipment is a privilege.
