AUnited was created by a group of students at American University to counter Islamophobic sentiments of the Muslim community. Our campaign consists of a four pronged strategy, which includes ensuring commitment to stand up for Muslims, promoting the acceptance of Muslims at AU and the greater Washington, D.C. area, recognizing the contributions that Muslims have made to the U.S., and dispelling st

ereotypes about Muslims. AUnited believes that we all have the power to inspire and instill positive change every day in small ways. By working together to promote inclusion and fostering goodwill towards the Muslim community, we can truly make a difference.
