W&J alumni Carley Adams Lyon ’15 and Kate Loy ’12 were part of a record-breaking year at the 2026 Gene Kelly Awards, serving as judges for the annual high school musical theater celebration hosted by the Pittsburgh CLO at the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts.
 
This year’s program featured 37 participating high schools and more than 2,000 student performers from across Allegheny County. Together, Lyon and Loy bring a combined 10 years of judging experience to the awards, continuing a tradition of W&J alumni making an impact in the arts, education, and communities beyond campus.

From meeting future classmates and learning about campus resources to exploring student life, academics, dining, athletics, and more. This exclusive pre-Orientation experience is designed to help you feel at home before August even begins.

Christian Dwimoh ’25 didn’t wait until senior year to think about what’s next and it shows.

Now a law student at the University of Maryland, he has already secured a 2026 summer legal internship with Lowe’s Companies, Inc. and a 2027 summer associate position with Saul Ewing.

By fully leveraging the Center for Professional Pathways, Christian turned preparation into results, building the skills, confidence, and clarity to stand out in a competitive field.

From the classroom to the newsroom, Ganiah Bracy ’26 explored where her future could take her.

Through an internship with CBS in Pittsburgh under Taj Lewis '96, she gained firsthand experience in sports broadcasting and news reporting while learning more about the fast-paced world of media.

Along the way, she connected with Emmy Award-winning sideline reporter AJ Ross and explored opportunities in acting for stage and screen.

What began as an interest became a clearer vision for the future shaped by experience, mentorship, and discovery.

Washington & Jefferson College’s Locker Room Rebranding and Vicki Staton Women’s Wall of Champions project was selected as the runner up in the Environmental & Experiential Graphics category in the GDUSA Sports Design Awards.

Designed to celebrate the legacy, milestones, and impact of W&J Athletics, the space transforms the locker room into an immersive tribute to the student-athletes, coaches, and champions who helped shape Presidents history. ❤️🖤
