We are looking forward to bringing the 2026 Technology & Entrepreneurship Summit to our LATC Business students virtually!

The Summit is coming up September 30 and features speakers sharing practical insights on innovation, artificial intelligence, storytelling, business growth, navigating change, and more.

This year’s lineup includes Pixar veteran Matthew Luhn, Microsoft TechSpark’s Jeremy Satterfield, Napoleon Dynamite producer Sean Covel, 3 Farm Daughters co-founder Mollie Ficocello, and several other regional and national speakers.

While South Dakota Board of Regents students, staff, and faculty can attend the Summit in person at the Northern Innovation and Startup Center for free, the virtual option makes it possible for us to bring the experience right into our classrooms at Lake Area Tech.

Not joining us in class? Virtual tickets are available for just $40, so you can tune in from anywhere.

The Business Department would like to extend a huge congratulations to our graduates and to all graduates.

The past few weeks have been filled with final exams, projects, presentations, and more than a few late nights. Through it all, our students worked hard and crossed the finish line.

As you move into the next chapter, remember: success is not about knowing everything. It is about staying curious, continuing to learn, and being willing to do a little more than expected. Keep asking questions, keep growing, and trust in what you are capable of.

Congratulations, graduates. Your future is bright, and this is only the beginning.

Join us April 30 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM for the Photography Business Student Showcase and meet the artist behind the lens. Our students have been putting in the work and it shows.

If you can’t stop in on April 30th, their images will be at Gather this week and then will be moved to LATC campus in the hallway by the student center before Gradfest. See how photography and business come together at LATC.

You might leave inspired… or at least with a new favorite photo.
