The first week of the fall semester is officially in the books from familiar faces to new friendships, busy classrooms and plenty of Jefferson spirit, campus has been buzzing with energy. Tomorrow, we kick off Week Two! 📚✨ As our students settle into the semester, we’re also continuing to make improvements around campus including new furniture and fresh spaces.

Chancellor King Continues the SUNY Reconnect Tour with Visit to Jefferson Community College

Today, we welcomed SUNY Chancellor John B. King Jr. to campus as part of his SUNY Reconnect Tour!

During his visit, Chancellor King met with President Daniel Dupee, toured the Dulles Building — home to Jefferson’s new mechatronics labs opening this fall — and heard directly from SUNY Reconnect students and faculty.

Joining Chancellor King were SUNY Vice Chancellor Valerie Dent, Assemblyman Scott Gray, Jefferson County Legislator Karen Freeman, Watertown City Council member Dr. Robert Kimball, and Board of Trustee members David Males and Erika Flint.
We’re proud to showcase how SUNY Reconnect is opening doors for adult learners and how Jefferson is preparing students for the workforce of tomorrow.
