The Carroll Players is the first active student theater organization in Wisconsin, founded in 1896 when professor May Nickell Rankin directed a group of students in a production of Richelieu as part of Commencement weekend activities. The group furthers the artistic, academic and educational concerns of the Theatre Arts program, recognizes outstanding alumni and encourages fellowship and growth among members through social and educational activities.

You know 'em, you love 'em, the next band we're talking about is the legendary WHITESNAKE! Formed by David Coverdale of "Deep Purple," Whitesnake made their start as a bluesy hard rock band before their evolution into the iconic glam metal band we know them as today!

A ROUND OF APPLAUSE for alumni Adam Jacobi '99, who was recently presented with the Distinguished Alumni Award for Professional Achievement! Emeritus Professor of Theatre David Molthen was also present at the ceremony to give his congratulations. 💐

Adam is also the Executive Director of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Speech & Dramatic Arts Association. So many great careers exist in the arts, and it's so awesome to see them get recongized in such a big way! ✨

After signing with Columbia Records, the smashingly successful band WARRANT recorded their hit album "Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich," which contained the chart topper, HEAVEN! They are also known for other hits such as CHERRY PIE, DOWN BOYS, and SOMETIMES SHE CRIES.
