Last year, you showed up. You ran. You walked. You helped a student cross their finish line.

And because of you, someone moved one step closer to graduation.

As we prepare for this year’s Run for the Last Mile 5K, we wanted to personally invite you back.

The Last Mile Fund supports students who are just a few credits — or one unexpected financial hurdle — away from completing their degrees. Every registration helps close that gap. Your participation truly matters.

We also listened to your feedback.

This year’s course has been adjusted to be more walker-friendly while still highlighting the beauty of William Paterson University’s campus. A few of the steeper hills have been removed, including the climb to Hobart Manor, creating a smoother and more accessible route for everyone.

And of course:

🏅 Every finisher earns a 2026 exclusive medal designed specifically for this year’s event

New this year, participants also have the option to create or join a fundraising team to expand their impact even further.

If you weren’t able to join us last year, we understand. Schedules change. Life gets busy. But your previous participation meant something — and we would truly love to welcome you back to the starting line.
