It has been a great experience so far. The program they have prepared for us is very impressive. They provided us with sweaters, backpacks, laptops, headsets, and everything we need to be successful throughout the summer.
I have also really enjoyed getting to know Milwaukee. There are many activities happening throughout the summer, including music festivals and Brewers baseball games, and all of the interns will have the opportunity to attend some of these events together.
The first two days have been focused on orientation, meeting the staff and fellow interns, getting to know our managers, and setting up our workspaces. It has been exciting to connect with so many people from different backgrounds and learn more about the company and its culture.
Starting tomorrow, we will begin learning how to build a financial plan from scratch. Throughout the week, we will also be learning more about working with clients and collaborating with different teams across the company. I am looking forward to gaining hands-on experience and continuing to develop my skills throughout the summer.
