Jennifer Guidice (Brockman) WU Class of 2011.

“I graduated from Waynesburg University with a dual degree in Elementary and Special Education. I am a Learning Support teacher and K-3 interventionist with the Seneca Valley School District. This is my 16th year teaching and my 6th year at Seneca Valley. Before teaching learning support, I taught kindergarten at a local private school. I recently graduated from the American College of Education with my Master’s in Literacy. I love providing individualized instruction and building students’ confidence!”

Have a wonderful year, Jennifer!

Lauren Duke
Class of 2025

“I am going into my second year of teaching with the Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8 out of Bedford, PA working in early intervention. I teach special education preschool for 3-5 year olds who have developmental delays. Over the summer I also started a graduate program through GCU to earn my masters in Autism Spectrum Disorder. I completely fell in love with early intervention and I am so grateful to have a career in something I absolutely love! I am thankful to WU for allowing me to grow as a person and figure out where I was meant to be in my career.”

Have a fabulous year, Lauren!

Ciera Boyd
WU Education 2025

“Hi! I graduated from Waynesburg in 2025 and just started my second year at Blueprints as a Pre-K teacher. I’m passionate about helping young learners begin their school journey and form relationships in the classroom. I hope to one day find a school district outside of my home town but for now I am content with the little community I’ve made in Blueprints and have learned from seasoned teachers. I also just recently gained a teaching assistant and have been learning the importance of communication and team work in the classroom, she is the best! The lessons I learned at Waynesburg have shaped me into the person I am today.”

Have a fabulous year, Ciera!

Ayden Bishoff
WU Education 2025

"I’m currently a high school special education teacher and the Junior High Head Wrestling Coach at Waynesburg Central. I’m passionate about helping students grow both in the classroom and through athletics. These two roles complement each other in many ways, as both teaching and coaching require patience, communication, and adaptability. The lessons and experiences I gained during my time at Waynesburg University left me well-prepared for these roles."

Have a great year, Ayden!
