Today, new and returning students, faculty, and staff gathered to kick off a new year at the Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University at Webster University, welcoming new faces, reconnecting with familiar ones, and celebrating the community we're building together.
Soon, some of these students will be under the spotlight receiving applause, while others will be creating the magic behind the scenes running lights, sound, costumes, scenery, and stage management.
Every role matters. Every contribution helps tell the story.
At Webster University students join more than a Conservatory. They become part of the Gorlok community, a place to thrive, a network of artists, scholars, mentors, and friends who show up for one another and leave things better than they found them.
Today they're cheering each other on. Tomorrow, they'll be the ones inspiring the next round of applause. 💙💛
