Theme: Beyond the Individual: Creating Trauma-Informed Communities and Systems

This year, we will expand the conversation beyond individual healing to examine how systems, communities, and collaborative partnerships can foster resilience, promote healing, and improve access to care.

Keynote Speaker: We are honored to welcome internationally renowned psychiatrist and neuroscientist Bruce D. Perry, M.D., Ph.D.

Who should attend? Mental health professionals, clinical supervisors, educators, social workers, students, and community partners are invited to join this cross-disciplinary event to learn, reflect, network, and collaborate.

Several WICS (Webster Institute for Clinical Scholarship) Scholars and Counselor Trainees proudly presented their conceptual research at Webster University’s Research Across the Disciplines (RAD) Conference.

Using Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Systems Framework, their work explored the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) across important topics including the Latinx immigrant experience, foster care, housing instability, chronic illness, postpartum depression, immigration policies, and more.

We are incredibly proud of our WICS Scholars and Counselor Trainees for contributing meaningful research that advances advocacy, awareness, and equity in the counseling field. Congratulations to everyone who presented and shared their work at the conference!
