Cinema St. Louis (CSL) is looking for volunteer videographers to shoot B roll at this year's St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase (held on weekends from July 13 to July 22 at Washington University).

CSL needs B roll footage (people arriving for screenings, people talking/networking, filmmakers presenting their films, corporate sponsor visuals, etc.) that will be used for marketing. There's no pay, but CSL will offer videographers free film passes for CSL screenings. Come join our talented FTVP students and faculty tomorrow night!!

Please join faculty and staff members of the School of Communications at the St. Louis Science Center Movie Magic First Friday event on May 4 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Electronic and photographic media faculty will set up four sound stages to walk guests through stages of the filmmaking process. They'll cover:

1) How to work a camera and shoot a scene;
2) How to light and shoot a scene;
3) How to create visual effects and shoot a scene;
4) How to direct and shoot a scene.

If you love movies, this is the event for you. Learn from our talented faculty. Take part in movie-related activities all evening long with this one-of-a-kind backstage access to movie magic!

Starting in the fall of 2017, The Electronic and Photographic Media Department will be offering a series of weekend, one-credit seminars introducing students to several Adobe applications. The courses are prerequisite-free and open to anyone at Webster University and will meet from 5:30-9:30 Friday night and all day Saturday.
