A classic is getting a new life at SCC! Our Automotive Collision Repair students and Blackhawk Motorsports Club are taking on a 1964 Chevy Impala convertible as their newest project.

Automotive Collision Repair students have a new project. This 1964 Chevy Impala convertible was donated to the Blackhawk Motorsports Club (Collision Club) by Randy Jarvis of Stronghurst, Il.

Students in the club will rebuild and customize the car and auction it at some point in the future. The money will be used to support the program in a way yet to be determined.

Right now the club is seeking donations of materials to help complete the project. If you would like to donate materials, make a monetary donation, or find out more about the project, contact Tim Weaver at [email protected] or Travis Pence at [email protected].

We want to extend a huge thank you to Randy Jarvis for donating the car and a huge thank you to Travis Pence for getting the car picked up and delivered to SCC.

Picture below was taken when the car was picked up. Itā€™s been in this shed since the 1980ā€™s. Check back for progress and updates on the project.
