Student Spotlight

Ollie Silver (he/him) is a first-year graduate student in our M.M. Music History program, and he currently serves as the Music History & Literature graduate assitant. He holds a B.A. in Music: Vocal Performance from Lebanon Valley College (2026) and seeks to focus his music history research on the lives and works of composers from underrepresented backgrounds, specifically composers of color, women, and those belonging to the LGBTQ+ community. Outside of his studies at WCU, Ollie is a newly appointed choral scholar at First Presbyterian Church of West Chester and also a founding member of the Harrisburg Camerata, a regional ensemble founded by Artistic Director Tyler Canonico-Dilley.
