There was an evident need for an organization at West Chester University that focused on the social, political, cultural and overall success of Latinas and ladies of various racial and ethnic backgrounds. In the fall of 1993 Abigail Rodriguez became the Founding Sister of Pi Chapter. Rodriguez established the first Latin Sorority at West Chester University. Pi Chapter also has the unique distincti

on of being the first chapter of Lambda Theta Alpha in Pennsylvania. In the spring of 1994 Diana Torralvo entered the beautiful sisterhood of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. In Spring of 1996, May 5th, Erika Evans became the third Sister at West Chester University. In the fall of 2000 Elvita Quiñones and Tisha Ortiz became Line number 3. Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc., Pi Chapter has produced outstanding sisters who have excelled both academically and professionally.
