Not returning for the Spring semester? ✔️Start your USH lease termination process today.

December Graduates: You must submit the lease termination form by October 31st.

How to get started:
▪️Log in to the USH Resident Portal
▪️Select Resident Resources → Lease Termination
▪️Select Cancel/Terminate next to Academic Year 2026–2027
▪️When you get to the prompt asking, “When Are You Terminating For?”, select Spring Only.
▪️Complete all steps, including the $200 termination fee!

Important: Submitting the termination request and fee does not end your lease obligations. You remain responsible for rent and your lease until a qualified replacement is identified and completes the required process. Unless you are officially graduating in December 2026, and you will be held responsible.

214 POUNDS & COUNTING! 🍅🌶️🎉

Our USH volunteer has harvested an incredible 214 pounds of fresh produce so far this year, and the season isn’t over yet! The Village Clubhouse Garden on South Campus is STILL growing strong. Peppers, herbs, okra, tomatoes & MORE are still coming in!

The Community Garden harvest is being donated to the WCU Resource Pantry and the WC Food Cupboard, helping fresh food reach our community. 💛💜

Key Dates:
▫️Request form open: Now–September 11th at 12:00 pm
▫️Meetings with Residence Life: Starting September 14th
▫️Room Change/Moving Period: Starting September 21st

Laundry Tips for Better Results!

✔️ Load by space, not weight — clothes need room to move and clean properly.
✔️ Don’t over pack the washing machine — if you have to push clothes down, it’s too full.
✔️ Let clothes move freely — items should sink, roll, and reappear during the wash cycle.

🛏️ Washing bulky items?
Comforters and blankets should be washed in front-loading machines or taken to a laundromat (or home) for best results.

💧 Choose the right water level
Select a setting that allows clothes to move easily through the water.

⚠️ Avoid overloading
Overloading can lead to:
• Poor cleaning
• Wrinkled clothes
• Possible machine damage!

💡 When in doubt:
Split items into two loads for the best results.

Clean clothes + healthy machines = everyone wins! 🧼
