WCU Student Veterans:

Your Veterans Center staff hopes you all enjoyed a terrific summer and are excited to return to campus for fall 2022 classes!

PLEASE NOTE: Tuition and fee charges for fall 2022 classes will post to your bill on Monday, July 25th. The Bursar's Office will expect payment by August 15th. IF YOU ARE INTENDING TO USE YOUR GI BENEFITS FOR THE FALL 2022 SEMESTER, PLEASE SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ASAP:
• New students email the Veterans Center at [email protected] a copy of your VA Certificate of Eligibility and a WCU Request for Certification. The Request for Certification form can be found on-line at https://www.wcupa.edu/veteransCenter/benefits.aspx
• Returning students need only to email the Veterans Center a WCU Request for Certification form
• Out-of-state students who would like to reclassify to in-state will need to submit additional information. Visit our Veterans Center Website https://www.wcupa.edu/veteransCenter/benefits.aspx and follow instructions listed in “Your Benefits” tab for information regarding the process and required documents. Please contact the Veterans Center with any questions.

WCU Student Veterans:

As a reminder, students receiving Post 9-11 benefits must verify class enrollment at the end of every month via email, text message or by calling the Education Call Center (ECC) at 1.888.442.4551. The ECC can also help you opt into text verification.

If you have not received your housing allowance for the month of March, you may need to verify your enrollment.

Brady Family Communication Scholarship

Awarded to a student who meets the following criteria: (1) BIPOC, and/or Latinx, and/or LGBTQA who is enrolled in the Academic Success Program (ASP) and/or Veteran WCU student (2) who has taken or is currently taking an SPK 208, SPK 230 or an equivalent course if a transfer student (3) with financial need (4) who has a GPA of 2.7 or higher.
