With programs in healthcare and skilled trades, our students learn through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training designed to prepare them for the workplace. Programs include Medical Assistant, Dental Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Medical Insurance Billing and Coding, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Surgical Technology, Vocational Nursing, HVAC Technician, Electrician Technician, and more. Our Pharmacy Technician students practiced adult and infant CPR using training manikins, gaining hands-on experience with important emergency response techniques in a controlled learning environment.

It’s another opportunity for our students to build confidence and develop valuable skills as they prepare for careers in health care. 💙

A few basics that support heart health:

🥗 Build meals around nutritious foods
🏃 Move regularly
🚭 Don’t smoke
🩺 Know things like your blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar
💊 If you take prescribed medication, follow your healthcare provider’s directions

World Heart Day is a pretty good reminder that prevention is healthcare too.
