After 40 years of state service including 34 years at Alton Jones, EEC Senior Cook Paul LaPlante has retired. Paul spent most of his career serving meals to the children, parents, teachers, and staff at the Alton Jones camp and school programs. While food was his calling, Paul was best known for his friendly smile, welcoming demeanor, and willingness to go the extra mile to make people feel at home. Today was his last day and he will be missed. Paul, we wish you the best.
