The History club and the Department of History and Society are both hosting a time capsule in the spirit of Saint Joseph’s first year as a university. We are encouraging students and staff to either sign their names on a USJ shirt or put a small item into the time capsule. We are also providing acid free paper and pens in order to write a letter to themselves. The letters would be $1 and would be donated to archives. The time capsule itself will be located in archives and will be opened in 25 years.

Tabling will be on April 8th, Tuesday April 9th, Monday April 29th, and Tuesday April 30th in McGovern Lounge from 11am-1pm.

WOW, along with other leadership groups on campus, will be collecting various school supplies to go towards a school on Long Island that was affected by Hurricane Sandy. Please feel free to either donate the following items or donate money to help the school. School supplies will be collected from November 26th until December 3rd in Little Red House Monday through Friday from 10am-4pm. Another place school supplies can be dropped off at is or the WOW office in McAuley. Please help us, every contribution helps.

Bonjour! Have you visted a historical place yet this summer? We have roughly a month left to the summer, maybe you can hit up your local library and find out where the oldest house is in your town? Or how about where the original town square used to be? I was surprised when I looked it up myself, maybe you will be too!
