Highlights from the HCA&S Colloquium 📚✨

The School of Communication showcased a range of work from media projects to international research and student success.

Projects included Kamp Krystal Killjoy, a feminist podcast reimagining of Friday the 13th by Dr. Kristen Comeforo, conversations on sports production internships and careers led by Dr. Susan Cardillo and Jaiden Louden, and international research led by Dr. Sundeep Muppidi.

Reporting Hartford, our student-run newsroom, was also featured with Lindsay Binder and Natalie Rusczyk.

Valerie Remy , UHart alumna C’19 and current Senior Marketing Program Manager at The Athletic, spoke to students in CMM 214 Introduction to Digital Media Production and CMM 215 Making Sense of Social Media about her career journey, industry experience, and working in marketing and media. 📈💡
