Our Story
University of New Haven is home to 3 Panhellenic chapters and 1 associate chapter on campus. The Greek community as a whole is compromised of 350 students which makes up about 7% of the undergraduate population. There are currently around 160 women in Panhellenic Sororities. With a large amount of students involved in the Greek community, many of them are also involved in other organizations on campus that better the New Haven community as a whole. There are several main aspects the University of New Haven's fraternities and sororities focus and emphasize on in order to create and maintain strong connections across councils and in the community: personal growth, community engagement, brotherhood/sisterhood, scholarship, and lifelong involvement.
