A beautiful initiative was born from the heart of our college community! ๐ŸŽ‚

Professor Yevgeniya Rivers from our Math Department, inspired by her former student, helped launch the C.A.K.E.S. program (Collaborate with Adults and Kids to Ensure Success).

This project delivers birthday cakes and joy to children in local shelters, reminding them they are seen and celebrated.

We are so proud of our faculty who turn expertise into empathy and inspire the next generation of changemakers.

Justin turned five last Sunday. His mother Alysha wished him a happy birthday when he got up and gave him a hug. That was that. Until that evening, when he encountered a group of people in the kitchen of Life Haven -- and a thickly frosted cake on the table.

The Department of Art and Design and Seton Gallery are excited to present In Light of Space, a new solo exhibition by Ioana Barac.

The exhibition will be on view through December 17, the end of the semester.

Ioana will also give an Artist Talk on Tuesday, December 2 at 5:00 PM in Dodds Lobby.

In Light of Space serves as a visual art companion to the course Patterns and Places that Connect, a Special Topics Interior Design studio that introduces ornament as an activator of architecture, interiors, and public space. The works explore multitudes in imperfect harmony and balance, their temporary life shaped by the structured space and natural light of the gallery.
