Reminder: Lunch & Learn is coming up in the first week of November!

LEAD and the Purdue Cultural Centers are hosting a Lunch & Learn Series from November 2–6, 12–1 p.m. The theme is How to Be an Effective Leader. These sessions offer a chance to learn more about leadership, share a meal, and connect with others.

LEAD Portraits highlights stories of growth, reflection, and leadership development. Come learn from and support your fellow Boilermakers while enjoying light refreshments.

Join LEAD for a week of Lunch and Learn sessions in collaboration with the Purdue Cultural Centers. This fall, our theme is How to Be an Effective Leader. Spend an hour exploring leadership, sharing ideas, and connecting with others over lunch.

We had a great time engaging students at Professional Development Day last week. Participants at Purdue in Indianapolis learned how the 8 Dimensions of Wellness can support you in becoming a better leader. Thanks to all of our partners for making the event a success! Last Saturday, we held our Student Facilitator Training!

Student facilitators play an important role in creating a positive learning environment and meaningful experiences for participants. During the training, students practiced active listening, facilitation, and group-centered leadership.

Earlier this month, Purdue sophomores came together for an overnight Emily Mauzy Vogel (EMV) Leadership Retreat at Camp Tecumseh. Students participated in team-building activities, explored their strengths, and developed their leadership skills.
Student facilitators are instrumental in facilitating content and debriefing activities to support their peers in their learning.
