featuring our lovely Anya Popa who spent her summer in Washington, D.C. 🫐📚
“Hi I’m Anya! I’m going to be a junior in Kappa this year, studying philosophy & political science. I have always been especially interested in law and public service. This summer I had opportunity to spend six weeks in Washington, D.C. as a Political Studies Fellow, where I spent my days discussing political philosophy and constitutional law with students from across the country. It was such a rewarding experience and I have learned so much from everyone here!
One of my favorite parts of the summer was getting to connect with other Kappas along the way, including one of my friends from the program who’s a Kappa at Princeton! It was such a cool reminder that no matter where I go, Kappa always finds a way to be my home away from home.
Being part of Kappa has given me the confidence to step outside my comfort zone and pursue opportunities I never imagined I’d have. I’ll never forget the friends who cheered me on throughout the year, calmed my nerves before interviews, and celebrated every opportunity with me. Their support has truly meant the world to me, and I can’t wait to be back on Waldron Street with everyone so soon! 🩵”
We are so proud of you Anya & always cheering you on 💞💓
