Get vaccinated and stay healthy! Register now for the no-cost vaccine clinic, happening this Tuesday, Oct. 20, at the France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center. Vaccines including flu, meningitis B, hepatitis A/B, MMR-II, Tdap/tetanus, COVID-19 and more will be available. The clinic is open to Purdue University students, staff, faculty and their family members (ages 11 and up) as well as to the community.

🎉 Congratulations to Huma Aziz, graduate research assistant, and PhD student in the Department of Public Health, on the publication of their very first first-author manuscript in Frontiers in Public Health!

Huma conducted this research under the mentorship of Dr. Bukola Peters, Assistant Professor of Public Health, who also served as a co-author on the publication.

Say hello to Gina, a Purdue University Public Health student in the MPH Residential program! 🖤💛

🩺 Why Public Health? Gina is passionate about patient care and exploring alternative and complementary approaches to medicine. She believes in taking a well-rounded approach to healthcare that considers different medical perspectives and treatment options to provide individualized care for every patient.

🔬 What’s next? Gina hopes to get involved in research and ultimately pursue her dream of becoming a physician after taking the MCAT!

🎹 Fun facts! When she’s not studying, Gina enjoys playing the piano, researching random topics, spending time with her cats 🐱, and playing pickleball! 🏓

We’re so excited that Gina chose to pursue Public Health at Purdue and can’t wait to see all the amazing things she accomplishes! Boiler up! 🚂💛
