Different setting. Different challenges. Same expectation: be ready. 🚨🏒

Today, our students took their emergency management training onto the ice with the Indy Fuel, partnering with students from for a series of hands-on emergency scenarios.

This is what athletic training education should look like: learn it, practice it, experience it, and be ready when it matters.

From communication and teamwork to patient care and emergency decision-making, students had the opportunity to put their preparation into action in a unique clinical environment. Afterwards it was off to Chicago's Pizza for fellowship and to refuel.

Over the last few weeks we've had some great guest speakers come to help us out.

Shout out to Meredith Ham (), Anna Foster (), David Weikel (), Brian Gerlach (), Josh Corbeil (), and Madison Sykita (/) for being part of our career panel.

We welcomed Purdue legends Denny Miller, Larry Leverenz, and Jeff Stein to talk about medical documentation and our program and professional history.

Also visiting the classroom were Matt McNamee and Casey Lee from the to talk about on field evaluation and emergency management.

Grateful for these professionals investing in our students, program, and profession!
