📢 The Purdue University School of Materials Engineering is pleased to welcome Christopher A. Schuh, Dean of Northwestern University's McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science, as the featured speaker for the 2026 Winchell Distinguished Lecture.
Schuh's presentation, "The Coming Age of Computationally Designed Grain Boundary Chemistry," will explore how computational tools and data-driven approaches are opening new possibilities in the design of advanced materials.
A member of both the National Academy of Engineering and the National Academy of Inventors, Schuh has made significant contributions to materials science and engineering throughout his career.
