We still have some open days for classes visiting campus for the October: Absolute Dating: Using Nuclear Chemistry to Investigate the Geologic Timescale lab with your students!!

High School teachers can bring their science classes to the West Lafayette campus to participate in labs instructed by Purdue faculty, staff, and graduate students. These sessions take place in our updated K-12 Outreach lab space, located in the Brown Laboratory of Chemistry.

Tomorrow is Purdue's Day of Giving. Our goal for the Day of Giving is to raise $11,000. This will go toward external hard drives to store video footage, batteries for video equipment, and support for a student video editor.

In 2023 we have already surpassed 1 million views on YouTube! Additionally, we have a backlog of recordings that are awaiting final edits so they can be released. From an ever-growing Science Demo repository to a collection of virtual labs and our popular Kids STEM Degree, many teachers have expressed appreciation for being able to access and use these resources at no cost.

Our newest initiative for 2023 is the development of a STEM Careers repository. Our goal is to support teachers with the integration of a diverse collection of videos from STEM professionals around the world. In addition, we hope to inspire students with an understanding of potential STEM Career fields. We appreciate any amount you might be willing to give. Your contributions will help us continue to create new content for all of our programs that supplement teachers’ science curricula.
