Our students got a taste of Tuscany today! 🇮🇹

As part of the Communication and Culture in Tuscany program, students rolled up their sleeves at the Scuola di Cucina di Lella to learn the art of Tuscan cooking. They made fresh pici pasta by hand (and enjoyed eating it afterward!), while also helping prepare a traditional Tuscan bread soup, a meat-and-potatoes course, and a homemade pasta sauce.

From culture and communication to cuisine, it was a hands-on experience students won’t forget.

We’re planning to offer this program again next summer!

Boilermaker spotlight!

Mary Caltrider (’20) is back on campus this week as part of Purdue’s Rising Professionals program. This morning, she joined the Welcome to Communication Learning Community to share her path into television, the twists and turns of career decisions — and yes, the story of the time a goat relieved itself live on her St. Louis morning show. 🐐💩
