Purdue University Malaysian Students Association

Purdue University Malaysian Students Association Purdue University Malaysian Students Association We provide a home away from home. We are family.

The Purdue University Malaysian Students Association (PUMSA) is a Malaysian student organization based in Purdue University. Throughout the years, it has become our responsibility to welcome newcomers from Malaysia to the Boilermaker Community and life in Purdue University. PUMSA promotes Malaysian culture on campus by organizing events such our largest event of the year as well as one of Purdue's

biggest cultural events, Malaysian Night. PUMSA members showcase Malaysia’s culture through various dances, music, and other performances in an overarching performance held together by an entertaining theme and storyline. Besides that, PUMSA takes pride in placing Malaysian cuisine in the forefront of its efforts as we seek to win the hearts of the Purdue community through delicious food. We participate in events such as the International Food Bazaar and Taste of Asia, while also providing an endless supply of nasi lemak and teh tarik at most of our own events. Through our events, efforts and friendships, we are able to endorse Malaysian culture to West Lafayette, Indiana while bringing ourselves closer together.
