Purdue Galleries offer a variety of art forms, events, and exhibits throughout the year. The Robert L. Please visit purdue.edu/galleries for more information.

Exhibitions of visual art and programming to enhance the educational mission of Purdue University and serve as a cultural resource for Greater Lafayette and the state of Indiana. Ringel Gallery, in Stewart Center, is an interdisciplinary visual arts space and features artwork from renowned national and international artists as well as the Galleries permanent collection. These exhibits rotate every

four to eight weeks through the academic year. Ringel Gallery is open Monday - Saturday, 10AM-7PM (closed for summer, exhibition changeovers, and university holidays unless otherwise noted). The Patti and Rusty Rueff Galleries, in Pao Hall, are a dedicated space for the faculty, students, and staff of the Patti and Rusty Rueff School of Design, Art, and Performance. Rueff Galleries are open Monday - Friday, 10AM-7PM (closed for summer, exhibition changeovers, and university holidays). Purdue Galleries' permanent collections include over 6,000 works of art and provide a lasting cultural resource for both the Purdue community and the Lafayette-West Lafayette region. Our 2026-2027 exhibition season is officially here, and it’s a big one!

From international poster biennials and visiting artists to collection-driven shows, MFA work, and senior capstones, Purdue Galleries is bringing a full year of art, design, and creative research to campus.

Yesterday we cleaned up real nice 💅 We spent the day learning conservation techniques for 19th century sheet music and horse harnesses, then polished up and headed to see Don Giovanni at the same theatre it premiered in 1797. Bonus activity of being interviewed for Czech National Radio

After days of spiraling (staircases) and many ups and downs (also staircases), we have toured castles, cathedrals, and palaces ranging from the 10th-19th centuries and learned from so many experts along the way!

Day Two at Nelahozeves Zamek, launching into the Curator Challenge! Each student is assigned an object from the collection and works with the phenomenal curators to research and document their object. After all that brain exercise, we did some physical exercise with a 5k “survival walk” in the Czech countryside!

This past weekend, we recognized the accomplishments of our seniors, whose contributions have meaningfully shaped our exhibitions, programs, and daily operations. Their professionalism, creativity, and commitment to the arts have advanced our mission and enriched the visitor experience.
