This weeks IFC Member Spotlight:

Charlie Peterson from Kappa Sigma

“Senior Charlie Peterson has been an integral part of our chapter throughout his time in Kappa Sigma, serving two years on our executive board in two important leadership roles: President and Grand Master of Ceremonies. Charlie has dedicated countless hours to strengthening our fraternity and helping shape it into what it is today. From mentoring younger brothers and always stepping up when the chapter needed him most, his commitment to the brotherhood has never gone unnoticed. Through his leadership, hard work, and dedication to our values, Charlie has made a lasting impact on both our chapter and the people within it, and we are incredibly grateful for everything he has done for Kappa Sigma.”

Dawson McWilliams from Tau Delta Phi

“Dawson is a sophomore at Monmouth majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics. Upon joining in last spring he’s always been proactive in his search for leadership roles. Eventually he was elected to be one of the social chairs for TDP. Ever since he’s done an amazing job in event planning and coordination. Our brothers are excited to see what he is going to accomplish in the future and know he’s going to do great things.”

We kicked off our First Annual IFC New Member Symposium tonight, welcoming the next generation of leaders within our community at Monmouth University.

New members received an in-depth introduction to IFC and Fraternity & Sorority Life, gaining insight into our mission, values, and the role we play on campus. The night concluded with an interactive group activity, encouraging collaboration and connection across chapters from day one.

A huge thank you to our Executive Board for their hard work in planning and executing this event. We’re looking forward to seeing these new members grow and make their mark.
