🌟 Workship Opportunity: Roosevelt Middle School Mentor Match Event

📅 When: Wednesday, August 5
⏰ Volunteer Arrival: 7:30 AM | Event: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (volunteers may serve as long as they are available)
📍 Where: Roosevelt Middle School

🤝 Hosted by: United Way of Palm Beach County

United Way of Palm Beach County is seeking volunteers to support the Roosevelt Middle School Mentor Match Event, helping students and families prepare for the new school year.

Workship Roles:
Volunteers may assist with food distribution, school supply giveaways, vendor support, or help at the haircut stations with setup, check-in, and guest flow. Licensed barbers and stylists are also welcome to provide haircuts.

📋 Volunteer Information:
Please bring a photo ID and enter through the main office to sign in.

Students interested in serving local families and supporting back-to-school success are encouraged to participate.

📣 Good news! By popular request, the Workship Form is back!

Many of you have asked, "Do you have a form I can take with me for my supervisor to sign?" The answer is yes!

You can now print the Workship Form and bring it with you to your volunteer site. After you've completed your volunteer hours, have your supervisor sign the form, then upload it with your Workship submission in myPBA.

This is a great option if your volunteer site isn't able to complete the online verification process.

Celebrate Independence Day while giving back to the community! Volunteers are needed to help in the Kids Activity Area and the Hospitality Tent during West Palm Beach's annual 4th on Flagler celebration.

Volunteer Roles:

Assist with activities in the Kids Activity Area
Support guests in the Hospitality Tent

🚨 Important Announcement 🚨

As of June 1, 2026, we will no longer be accepting submissions for card making and coloring sheets. This program is being officially sunset due to the increasing volume of submissions, which has made it difficult for organizations to properly process, distribute, and effectively quality control materials.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has shared their creativity, kindness, and support through this initiative over the years. These contributions have made a meaningful impact and brought joy to many individuals in our community.
