5 young entrepreneurs. 5 business pitches. 1 winner. πŸ†

On Monday, MCCC's James Kerney Campus in Trenton hosted the Everyday Entrepreneur Pitch Event, the culmination of a free National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship bootcamp for Mercer County high school juniors, seniors, and young adults.

Throughout the program, participants developed business ideas, strengthened their entrepreneurial skills, and learned what it takes to turn a concept into a viable venture. The Pitch Event gave each participant the opportunity to present their idea before a panel of judges.

Congratulations to Avrill John, an MCCC sophomore, who earned first place and received a MacBook Air and $500 prize for her business concept: a more fashionable and practical medical uniform company.

We applaud all of the participants for their creativity, hard work, and entrepreneurial spirit! πŸ‘
