Tea, sweets, a behind-the-scenes library tour AND the Otterbein Archives? Sounds like a pretty good night to us!

Join us September 10 for a special Friends of the Library event at Courtright Memorial Library! Friends members are invited to enjoy tea and treats, get a behind-the-scenes look at the library, celebrate the chapter’s 30th anniversary, and take part in our in-person membership meeting.

Then, stick around for Open Doors to America from 6–8 p.m. for a tour of the Otterbein Archives with Stephen Grinch!

What happens when you slow down enough to actually notice your life?
Join us Tuesday, August 25 from 6–7:30 p.m. for an Alumni Artist Reception celebrating Spatial Awareness 2.0, a collaborative collection by Steve Kanicki ’20 & Lance Kriesch '20.
What started as an experiment in being more present turned into a collection of drawings, photographs, and journal entries documenting the ordinary, unexpected, beautiful, and sometimes uncomfortable moments of everyday life.
For the project, Steve and Lance challenged each other to step outside their comfort zones, from drawing to photographing five moments every day, all guided by a new prompt. The result? Two people experiencing every moment.
Because maybe the “mundane” isn’t so mundane after all. Maybe it’s worth noticing. Worth documenting. Worth living!
Come experience Spatial Awareness 2.0 and celebrate the work of two Otterbein alumni!

The Class of 1976 is organizing an extra special Golden Reunion Donut Run at Schneider's Bakery on Friday, September 25, from 9:00–10:00 p.m. We will be departing from The Point at 9:00 p.m. following the evening social on the Patio.

Come reconnect with classmates, enjoy an Otterbein favorite, and kick off your reunion weekend with a donut (or two)!
