Did you know that The Ramones played a show at the College of DuPage on May 9, 1980?? This flyer used to be framed and displayed in the hallway of the BIC. It was held in the K Building (which no longer exists) on the west side of campus. I’ll add a couple of pictures from the show in the comments…it was packed! How cool is that?!?!

We are expanding our Summer Youth Academy offerings this year (please see the flyer!) to include enrichment programs for grades 3-8 along with the Steam Ventures camps for grades 1-5! This teaching and learning experience intends to encourage broad reflections on intersections between Black people’s work and their workplaces in all their iterations and key moments, themes and events in Black history and culture across time and space and throughout the U.S., Africa and the Diaspora.
