This team is dedicated to our student’s success and helping prepare the Valley’s healthcare workforce.
Meet the Team
• Paula Davis, Health Sciences Program Manager
An Augusta County native, she brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience. As a first-generation college graduate, Paula is driven by a mission to help others reach their full potential. Her diverse background spans EMT, CMA, and PCT roles, with a deep-seated passion for cardiac education and adult learners.
• Melissa Lambert, RMA, Coordinator - Allied Health
A Registered Medical Assistant of 24 years, she is also a certified Allied Health Instructor and ECG Technician. Her vast clinical background includes Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, and MOHS skin cancer surgery at UVA, as well as experience in Sentara’s laboratories.
• Carol Anderson, Coordinator - CNA, PCT, and RN-Oversight Courses
With a 44-year nursing career, including post-acute care, encompassing home health, public health, and long-term care. Carol is a dedicated advocate for safe, holistic nursing care.
• Angela Jones, Coordinator - Pharmacy Technology
A seasoned pharmacy technician with over 20 years of experience, she specializes in inpatient hospital pharmacy, sterile compounding, and accreditation auditing. Her expertise in regulatory compliance and operational excellence ensures our Pharmacy Tech students are trained to meet rigorous industry standards.
