Earlier this month, we welcomed hundreds of alumni back to campus for Homecoming 2026. It was a weekend filled with old friends, memories, and many stories of God’s goodness.

Wheaton College is mourning the loss of Tomassino "Tommy" Offer.

Offer, a freshman on the Thunder baseball team, was involved in a fatal accident in downtown Wheaton on Sunday, October 11.

Please be in prayer for Tomassino’s family, friends, teachers, floormates, and baseball teammates.

In Christ we have the freedom to grieve deeply and honestly, and at the same time hold on to the hope of eternal life in the risen Christ. Together we trust in the “God who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God” (2 Corinthians 1:4).

The second edition of our young alumni trivia event is in the books. This year's competition was a nailbiter, where two teams, Team Billye Kee (aka "Team Excellence") and Team Dr. Jordan Ryan (aka "Team Wheaton BTS"), remained deadlocked after five rounds of trivia action. In the end, Ms. Billye and her fantastic team of young alumni took home the victory and hoisted the Golden Mastodon TORophy.

Thank you to the 40+ young alumni and all our faculty/staff team leaders who joined us during Homecoming Weekend for this event—you made it a blast!

What a great start to Homecoming weekend! Yesterday, over 400 alumni and family members gathered in Coray Alumni Gymnasium for an evening of good food and good conversation.
