Celebrating the next generation of lifesavers

On Thursday, May 14, nine Saint Paul Public Schools students were recognized after successfully completing the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) class, an incredible achievement and a powerful step toward a career in emergency services.

This milestone is made possible through a strong partnership between Century College, Saint Paul Public Schools, and the Saint Paul Fire Department EMS Academy, creating real pathways for students to gain hands-on experience and career-ready skills.

Programs like this show what’s possible when education and community come together, opening doors for students who are ready to make a difference.
