Meet Hermana Vanessa Giraldo ‘Xilonen’💃🏻 

Born and raised in New York, Vanessa has truly grown into such a Triumphant woman. She received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health and is currently getting her Nursing Degree!👩🏻‍⚕️💛

“As a first-generation Latina, Sigma Lambda Upsilon/Señoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority, Inc.’s values have always aligned with what I cherish most in life. I’ve always wanted to find a place where I could embrace my identity and feel a true sense of belonging. Meeting Hermanas who were so open, welcoming, and genuine immediately made me feel at home and gave me the confidence to be my authentic self. This Hermandad has consistently demonstrated it’s commitment to making a meaningful impact in our communities, and witnessing that firsthand has been incredibly inspiring.
