Rev. Bro. Lamont Granby was a devoted servant of God, husband, son, father, grandfather, a dedicated brother of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., and a faithful presence in the lives of so many. As we continue to mourn his passing and celebrate his remarkable life and legacy, we ask that you keep his family, friends, brothers, and congregation in your prayers.

With heavy hearts, the Brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Beta Psi Sigma Chapter mourn the passing of our beloved Brother, Reverend Lamont S. Granby, who entered eternal rest yesterday, October 11, 2026.

As our fourth chapter president, Brother Granby holds an enduring place in the history and in the heart of our chapter. We honor his leadership, his ministry, and the bonds of Brotherhood he shared with us. His legacy will remain a cherished part of our chapter for generations to come.

We extend our deepest condolences to the entire Granby family, his congregation, and all whose lives he touched. May God grant them comfort, strength, and peace during this difficult time. Please keep them in your prayers and respect their privacy as they grieve.

Rest well, beloved Brother. Your memory will live on in our hearts, and your place in our Brotherhood, and in the community will never be forgotten. 💙🕊️ “Our Cause Speeds On.”

🎒📚 Supporting Our Young Scholars! 📚🎒

Yesterday, was the first day for the after-school program at the Re*****on New Rochelle Boys & Girls Club, so we were happy to partner with the center to donate and distribute school supplies to students in grades K - 5.

We extend a heartfelt thank-you to the Club’s dedicated support staff for assisting with the setup and distribution. Together, we are helping ensure that our young scholars have the tools they need to learn, grow, and succeed!
