UW-Whitewater students traveled to Germany over the summer, working closely with their peers and with native Germans to complete a capstone project for a communication class. More than 25 Warhawks immersed themselves in the nation’s culture and lived a shared experience with memories to last a lifetime.

We loved seeing so many UW-Whitewater alumni and families stop by the Champions Club during Saturday’s game to reconnect, cheer on the Warhawks and grab a FREE Warhawk koozie!

Once a Warhawk, always a Warhawk.

From Hong Kong to Bangkok, UW–Whitewater’s global Warhawk family continues to make an impact.

University Advancement Development Officer Danielle Story '15 recently had the opportunity to connect with international alumni from across generations and hear stories about their UW–Whitewater experiences — from surviving their first Wisconsin winter to being welcomed into the community by faculty and fellow Warhawks.

She also met alumni who helped shape UW–Whitewater history, including pioneers of our International Dinner, international Homecoming traditions, and student radio.

Their stories are a reminder that the Warhawk experience doesn’t end at graduation. Our international alumni continue to stay connected, share their experiences, and help make UW–Whitewater a truly global community.

We’re so grateful for the alumni who continue to carry their Warhawk pride around the world.

Family Fest is almost here, Warhawks!

Bring the whole family to campus this weekend, Oct. 2–4, for lots of family fun! Be sure to stop by the Alumni Association’s arts & crafts table at Willie’s Fun Zone on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. in the David L. Kachel Fieldhouse, Williams Center. 🎨

Heading to the game? Cheer on the Warhawks as they take on UW-River Falls at 1 p.m. Then, stop by the Champions Club beyond the north end zone near the scoreboard to say hello to the Alumni Association!

🎁 The first 100 alumni to check in will receive a FREE Warhawk koozie!
