The ideal candidate is able to focus, prioritize, and work independently. They have experience planning and/or lead group events and a desire to work with International Students. Additionally, having an experience abroad (i.e. study abroad, travel study, exchange student in high school, etc.) is preferred, but not required.
This position will have training during the end of the semester (Spring 2025) and will begin working in May 2025. The selected candidate will be expected to work over summer 2025 along with the following academic year.
◼️Compensation:◼️
▪️$12.00 per hour
▪️Approximately 15 hours per week during school year
▪️Approximately 30 hours per week during breaks
◼️Job Description:◼️
▪️Assist with Fall and Spring International & Exchange Student Orientation planning.
▪️Lead the Global Ambassador Program.
▪️Promote activities and communicate with international & exchange students.
▪️Manage communication to international & exchange students (email, Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Canvas Page).
▪️Manage data updates and uploading of documents to WISP (Whitewater International Student Portal).
▪️Assist in other projects and tasks as assigned by International Student and Scholar Services staff.
▪️Coordinate with other departments on-campus to plan events and support international & exchange students.

▪️Can focus, prioritize, and work independently.
▪️Experience planning/leading group events.
▪️Desire to work with international & exchange students.
▪️Intercultural Experience (study abroad, travel study, exchange student in high school, etc.) is preferred.
▪️Training during the latter part of the semester (Spring 2025) and will begin working independently in May 2025.
▪️Expected to work over Summer 2025 along with the following academic year
